Events of Day One
Nella and Keagan continue to improve and grow stronger in the NICU. Nella was moved this afternoon from the primary warming tables/care stations to her very own cozy isolette. Keagan was intubated all through the night to assist her breathing, but this afternoon had the tube removed. Schehera is already producing milk and is pumping, so Nella has already had one successful "mom only" feeding...with Dad actually doing the feeding through a special feeding tube. There have been diaper changes, baths and even a really powerful cry (after Dad took a photo with the flash...oops.) Thanks to everyone for all of the well wishes!

Just wanted to add our contragulations to all the rest. Its an incredibly amazing thing to become a parent, isn't it? And to two beautiful girls at once! Please keep the pictures coming (as time permits, of course!).
