Before school started back up, we packed up the trailer and headed to Buena Vista for a long weekend. We spent some time in Sedalia checking out the town and playing in the river!
We stayed at an awesome campsite called Snowy Peaks--here was our view of Mt. Princeton!
One afternoon, we stopped at K's for ice cream and then played at the playground and in the river.

A few weeks later, we headed back to camp in B.V. with our Colorado College friends! We had such an awesome time seeing everyone--in total, there were 17 of us!
Of course, we were SO excited to hang out with Annie!

After a visit to the hot springs, we kept on up the mountain to visit St. Elmo.

The kids had an incredible time together--there wasn't an argument or tears the entire weekend!
We loved that the playground was just across the street from our campsites.

It was a little chilly on Saturday morning, so instead of hanging out at the beach, we hiked up to Adams Falls. A gorgeous hike!

Our first two weeks of 1st Grade have been incredible--we are looking forward to a great year!
