We were quite surprised when we woke up on Saturday, the 22nd, to find that our elves (Peaches and Sharon) had written a note that Santa was coming to our house earlier than planned. They left specific instructions to leave cookies and milk our for Santa...that night!
Really excited!
Grandad read "Twas the Night Before Christmas..."and it was time to head to bed!
Santa did arrive...and brought the "glow pets" we had been dreaming of!
After opening presents...Janny brought out a special recorded book with all of the Disney characters...at the end of the story...the girls learned that they were headed to DisneyWorld the next day with Janny, Grandad, Uncle Matt, Tati, Lairden, and Karsten. At first, their was a little confusion...Keagan smiled, and Nella looked like she was going to cry. When I asked Nella what was wrong, she said that she was afraid that Ursula (the octopus from Little Mermaid) would be there. I said the only thing I could think of at the time..."Oh, no...she won't be there...she lives at Disneyland!" So hopefully that won't come back and bite me later! We called Lairden and Karsten--and there were squeals of delight on the other end...and so the adventure began!
