The girls had their first day of school on Thursday, August 23rd...and they are loving it!
They have Kristine Barri as their teacher...and she is a gem...and she just gave birth to twin babies in July, Ava and Colton. So, that's been fun for Nella and Keagan to have a special connection with her.
Their daily schedule looks like this

8:15-8:30 Assembly
8:30-8:40 Seat Work
8:40-8:55 Specials (Art, Music, PE)
9:00-9:15 Calendar and Social Studies
9:15-9:40 SAXON Math
9:40-9:55 Snack
10:00-10:15 Recess
10:15-11:10 Centers (Art, Math, Writing, Phonics)
11:10-11:30 Lunch
10:30-11:45 Set up for Rest Time
11:45-12:00 Reading/Story Time
12:00-1:30 Rest Time
1:30-1:50 Clean Up and Snack Time
1:55-2:15 Spanish
2:15-2:40 Recess
2:40-3:00 Literacy Small Group
3:00-3:20 Centers
3:20-3:30 Dismissal
...one big day!
