December Adventures!

I don't think we could have had a more fulfilling December! So many great adventures with friends and family!
We kicked off December with our annual trip with the Irby's to get our family Christmas tree!

It was so fun to spend this special time with them--knowing that their family of two was just a few days away from becoming three!!!

For a fun Christmas adventure, we drove to Canyon City (the Royal Gorge) to ride the Santa Express and see Santa. It was a great day--filled with a lot of laughter!

Telling Santa what they wished for...an American Girls Doll!

Standing below the bridge!

One of my favorite moments from the day...the elf sing-along...well, Jeff and the elf sing-along!

The next weekend, we spent a FABULOUS evening with the Wurst's having dinner and celebrating Christmas! The girls were now officially ready for Christmas with their Christmas pj's from Aunt Cathy!

We met up with the Bagwin's to decorate gingerbread houses! As always, it was a day full of giggles...and buckets of candy eating!

The final product!

The girls music program at SVA. Nella lit candle number 5 on the Chanukah song and Keagan played the drums. It was a great performance...and they were pretty cute in their red dresses. I couldn't believe that they chose to "match."

We had one more chance to check in with Santa when we met up with Sheri and Nikki Sue to see "Annie." We were on our way to the show when we saw the big guy...no line! It's always good to check in one more time!

We knew that Christmas had arrived when NeeNee and PopPop arrived! The Monday of Christmas we baked cookies for Santa!

Before the rest of the crew arrived we rode the light rail downtown, ate at the Paramount, and enjoyed the Christkindl Festival on 16th St.

Our stockings were hung with care...now it was time for everyone to get there!
