We journeyed to Wichita over Memorial Day weekend to visit the family! We had a really good visit with each of the Great-Grandparents--as well as spending time with our Grandparents.
There's a theme through many of these pictures...apparently five year olds like to make faces for the camera. Fortunately for us, the older generations don't seem to mind one bit...in fact, they got in on it!
On Friday, we visited the Wichita Art Museum to see the Chihuly glass. In this picture they are laying on top of the glass (it's a bridge made of his work--covered in a heavy plastic). Very cool!

Friday night we played an exciting game of wiffle ball in the backyard!
Saturday morning we visited G.G.--we began with a little tea and then had lunch in the cafe!

Saturday afternoon we visited Janny and Grandad and did a little fishing. This gave Mom the opportunity to teach the girls the importance of "kisssing" the fish before you release it...and that it's perfectly normal to fish in a dress!

We had a great visit and loved seeing everyone!

Love the Chihuly glass! He went to Univ. of Puget Sound and there is a whole glass museum dedicated to him in Tacoma, WA! I love seeing his work out and about in various cities! =)
