On Monday and Tuesday, we celebrated with a night of music and festivities at the MVHS Vocal Music Madrigal Feast...but, not only was this Nella and Keagan's first Madrigal Feast...it was our first time to have the event at the beautiful Highlands Ranch Mansion! Truly--it was stunning!
We had carolers outside of the mansion and throughout the many rooms--the mansion staff had decorated the exterior and the interior with poinsettias, garland, and lights...and a huge Christmas tree in the main living room!
Along with the carolers, we had a couple of kids to heckle the guests (The Brothers Grimm: Moderately Grimm and Relatively Grimm) and a beggar...whose kids had been kidnapped by a dragon. The kids were so creative--and loved being in character!
The original living room.
This year, we asked the flute choir to perform--they were beautiful!
In the pavillion...
Doug and I waiting for the processional of the singers.
Pumba...our Boar's Head!
Nella and Keagan did a great job--they loved the magician, the singing...and even ate the food...well, at least they ate dessert!
Baby Lilijana was the best guest ever!
